We at Musicians’ Royalty Services provide a comprehensive management service to artists to collect and manage their performance rights (also known as Neighbouring Rights). We have over 16 years of experience in this field and in that time have managed this right for international artists including Steve White, Steve Sidelnyk, Mick Fleetwood, Dizzee Rascal, Atomic Kitten, Shaggy and many others.
If so, you are entitled to royalty payments whenever your recording is played on the radio, in bars, gyms, shops or otherwise used in public.
This royalty right is separate from, and additional to, the performance rights that songwriters have had since early last century (commonly known as publishing). Songwriters who play on their recording (e.g. Lennon/McCartney) now get two royalty payments – the long standing one for writing the song and the more recent one for playing/singing on the recording. All the other musicians who played on the recording (e.g. George and Ringo, George Martin) also have a right to this new (since 1996) additional royalty payment irrespective of whether they wrote the song or not.

We will register you for the collection of this right, ensure you are registered on all of your tracks, ensure you are in the correct performer category (important in maximising your payments), make sure you receive the payments that are due to you, make certain other people aren’t taking money away from you by being incorrectly registered on your tracks – it happens!
The right exists across the globe including all EC countries, Canada, Brazil, Japan and the USA (where there is a limited right). We collect in all of these territories and many others, numbering more than 30 in total.
We offer a boutique service to a limited number of clients. Consequently we are able provide the level of service that is required to make sure our clients receive all of the royalty payments that they are due. It is vital to consistently revisit client catalogues to ensure that they are correct and limiting our client base enables us to do this.
You will also benefit from the vast experience we have gained in this arena since 1998.
In short we will look after you. And you can get on with the business of making music.
